Katherine's Infertility Journey

There are many conditions that can cause infertility such as PCOS and Endometriosis, however, male factor infertility and unexplained infertility are quite common factors as well.

Unfortunately, beauty and hygiene products can also be hormone disrupters that interfere with a couple’s ability to conceive.

A mama laying with her baby

If you picture a pregnant mama delivering her baby, you probably conjure up an image of a messy-haired, red-faced woman lying on her back in a hospital bed with her legs in stirrups. This image has been painted for us by many different forms of media, especially television.

A Placenta in a container

Childbirth is one of the most significant moments in a woman’s life. After delivering her baby, the placenta follows shortly after.

Many mamas choose to have their placenta discarded after birth, but they are unknowingly throwing away many amazing benefits that the placenta can offer when consumed.

Placenta Encapsulation Pills

Placenta encapsulation is nothing new. The practice dates back centuries, finding its source in traditional Chinese medicine.

Elizabeth Ernest and her third addition to her family

Elizabeth Ernest and her second addition to her family

For my second pregnancy, I was determined to have a vaginal birth after my c-section (VBAC).

Elizabeth Ernest and her new little one

My name is Elizabeth Ernest, I am a former microbiologist for a pharmaceutical company. I got married to my husband in 2011, we have three children together, and today I will share my birth stories with you.

Kara and her newborn

I spoke to my physician about hiring a doula who could encourage me through the process of labor with no drugs. In a nutshell, my physician expertly told me that I was welcome to TRY but since I had never been in labor before I didn’t know what the pain would be like.
