Certified Birth Educator
Tamara Kankowski is now a Childbirth Educator, Dip CBEd! Tamara has been working for the last year towards her certification in Childbirth Education. Becoming certified has required a lot of reading in addition to class hours. Part of the class hours included observing another childbirth educator teach a 12 hour childbirth class to expectant parents.
In addition to reading and observing, Tamara had to plan out her childbirth classes that she wanted to teach. Tamara spent months planning out childbirth classes with lesson plans and activities to develop an interactive class for parents that would be educational and entertaining. In order to finalize her certification, Tamara had to teach a 6 hour class to parents.
Tamara not only taught a 6 hour class (spread out over 3 weeks), but taught two other classes as well and spent time with over 15 couples developing her childbirth classes.
According to Nicole from Cincinnati:
"We are much more confident about the birthing process after attending her class. We highly recommend her!"
